A look on the life and politics of Benazir Bhutto Shaheed.

She has the honor of becoming the first woman Prime Minister of the Muslim world.

The death anniversary of Benazir Bhutto, the first woman prime minister of the Muslim world, is being celebrated today.

Benazir Bhutto, the first woman in the Muslim world to reach the most important post of Prime Minister at the age of 35, was a metaphor for the struggle for democracy. Even though Benazir was the prime minister twice, he not only endured the hardships of imprisonment but also was exiled.

After Ms. Fatima Jinnah and Benazir Bhutto were the only leaders who encouraged women to enter practical politics and brought them to the Houses of Assembly.

Ms. Benazir Bhutto became the Prime Minister of Pakistan for the first time from 1988 to 1990. Her government was desolved in August 1990.

He was detained by General Zia. International pressure on General Zia for his release continued to mount. He was released for a short period but then detained. In 1984, Benazir Bhutto was released for treatment. Allowed to travel abroad, she has been continuously detained since 1981.

In 1985, Benazir came to Pakistan with the dead body of his brother Shah Nawaz. She was once again detained and after some time she was exiled again. He received a historic welcome. In 1998, she was exiled for the second time and left the country.

Benazir Bhutto decided to return home after ending 9 years of exile on October 18, 2007. Millions of people welcomed her at Karachi Airport and she was being taken in the form of a large procession when a suicide attack occurred on her convoy near Karsaz. In which Benazir Bhutto remained safe but the lives of hundreds of youths were lost.

Even after the tragedy, Benazir Bhutto did not take the risks into account, and continued political activities despite seeing death very closely. This was the courage that immortalized Benazir forever.

On December 27, 2007, this shining star of the field of politics went down forever in Liaquat Bagh, Rawalpindi. Even after 15 years, the killers of Benazir Bhutto have not been identified.
