In its decision, the Supreme Court ordered the investigation of the professed suicide of Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput to be handed over to India's Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI).

 

Now an employee of the mortuary of the hospital where Sushant Singh Rajput's body was kept has come forward.

 

Speaking to the Indian news agency ANI, Roop Kumar Shah, who works in the mortuary of the Cooper Hospital in Mumbai, said, "When I saw the body of Sushant Singh Rajput, I did not believe it was a case of suicide."

Roop Kumar further said that 'I have more than 28 years of experience; Sushant had cut marks on his body. I went to my senior and told him all this but he said we will talk over the affair later. .'

 

He also said that 'I have been noticing dead bodies for 28 years. There was no hint of Sushant's body, which is commonly found on the body of a person who carried out suicide by hanging, there were signs of cracking on his body. Roop Kumar said that by looking at Sushant Singh Rajput's image, anyone can easily tell that he was killed. If the investigating agency calls me, I will inform them all this too.

 

It may be noted that Sushant Singh Rajput's post-mortem report gave the cause of death as suffocation and the post-mortem was conducted at the same hospital in Mumbai.
