The government has made the import of Holy Quran subject to NOC



ISLAMABAD: The federal government has amended the Import Policy Order 2022 under which the import of the Holy Quran has been made subject to NOC.
 

The Ministry of Commerce has issued a notification in this regard.

 

 According to the notification, the NOC of the Ministry of Religious Affairs or the concerned provincial department has been declared mandatory for the import of the Holy Quran.

 

 According to the notification, NOC will not be necessary for the import of the printed Holy Quran in Islamic countries
