Azhar Ali, the former
captain of the national team, has announced his retirement from cricket.
While
holding a press conference in Karachi, Azhar Ali said that tomorrow's Karachi
Test would be the last Test of his career.

Ali became overwhelmed while announcing his retirement while thanking his
seniors and colleagues.
The
national cricketer said that the fans have given a lot of love to the cause of
cricket for which I am grateful to them; I request them to continue supporting
Pakistan cricket in the same way.

Ali said that there is a time for everything to end. I suffered from injuries
for four or five years. My family give up a lot for my career. I hope I will
be able to give them enough time now.
Azhar
Ali made his debut against Australia in 2010 at the age of 25. He has played 96
Test matches for Pakistan, in which he has scored 7097 runs.
