In a match of the ongoing Big Bash League in Australia, Sydney
Thunders won a world record of T20 cricket which this team never wanted to
achieve.
In the match played in Sydney, the Adelaide Strikers, playing
first, set a target of 140 runs against the Sydney Thunders.
Chasing
the target, Sydney Thunders were all out for just 15 runs and Adelaide Strikers
won the match by 124 runs.
This
is the lowest score by any team in T20 history.
In
fact, the Sydney Thunder team was all out in 5.5 over’s or 35 balls within the
power play.
Earlier
in the history of T20, no team had gone all out in the Power play till date.
Surprisingly,
the Sydney Thunders team had players like Alex Hales, Riley Russo and Chris
Green, but they too could not do anything.
Adelaide
Strikers' Henry Thornton took 5 wickets for 3 runs.
The
previous lowest score in T20 history was 21, which was scored by Turkey against
the Czech Republic in 2019.
